Ksana Health Selected for Microsoft for Startups

Ksana Health News · Eugene, Oregon

Ksana Health is pleased to announce that it has joined the Microsoft for Startups a program designed to help startups quickly scale. This opportunity helps Ksana continue to fulfill its mission of making mental health care more accessible, effective, and personalized.

Leading Technologies

The Microsoft for Startups program provides access to leading technologies, including Microsoft Azure and GitHub, as well as business support, and mentorship. It also gives organizations a streamlined path to selling alongside Microsoft and its global partner ecosystem. Ksana Health is excited about Microsoft’s compelling strategy and leadership position in enabling and accelerating transformation in health care delivery.

Ksana’s Mission

Ksana Health seeks to bring therapy out of the office and into everyday life, using technology to provide personalized insights and interventions that improve mental health care and enable better living. Behavioral healthcare has traditionally relied on subjective self-reporting and periodic observations by clinicians and staff. Vira by Ksana Health transforms that practice by converting continuous and passively collected quantifiable behavioral patterns into actionable and objective insights for practitioners and their patients.

Benefits to Mental Health Practitioners

Practitioners can use these insights to build personalized therapy plans, and can make treatment more effective by allowing the practitioner to send nudges to clients at the most optimal time for behavioral change.

We are excited and honored to work with Microsoft and our fellow healthcare innovators in this program. Together, we can help meet growing demand for new mental health care approaches that are personalized and more accessible.

“We are excited and honored to work with Microsoft and our fellow healthcare innovators in this program. Together, we can help meet growing demand for new mental health care approaches that are personalized and more accessible,” says Ksana Health CEO and co-founder, Dr. Nick Allen. “One of the biggest ways to improve mental health services is to leverage digital technology to enable passive, remote monitoring and therapeutics between appointments.

Vira by Ksana Health Platform

The Vira by Ksana Health platform empowers practitioners to work more efficiently and effectively by utilizing real-time data that allows for personalized interventions that meet patients where they are.”

The Vira by Ksana Health platform allows for improved stepped care by enabling clinicians to support patients with the right level of interventions based on the severity of the behavioral health condition, creating a frictionless path to effective care with unique benefits for clients, clinicians, and healthcare administrators. With an accelerated shift to remote patient monitoring and virtual health care in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Vira by Ksana Health’s timely debut meets the need for new digital approaches and improves the quality of mental healthcare delivery, and joining the Microsoft for Startups program will help to scale this innovative tool.

We look forward to helping Ksana Health deliver their innovative solution to our joint customers.
