Ksana Health is pleased to announce new 2.0 improvements to the Effortless Assessment Research System (EARS). Mobile sensing and passive remote assessment enabled by EARS is a new standard in behavioral research methodology.
Improvements in EARS 2.0 allow for rapid configuration of research studies and greater control by researchers. This new flexibility allows for direct administration of study details, easily adding participants to studies, and administration and scheduling of ecological momentary assessment (EMA) research and survey questions. EARS combines remote sensing, objective data capture, and centralized dashboards, delivered to you based on the needs of your particular study.
The intuitive new interface in EARS 2.0 allows for quick access to participant smartphone data without code or programming experience, all built on the existing EARS mobile sensing applications available in the iOS App Store and Google Play store. The EARS system is easily scalable, requiring only a smartphone and the app for participants.
EARS supplies the technology and takes care of the coding and data science services. The system includes everything you need to remotely manage, monitor, and measure your research project.
Using EARS 2.0 you can directly configure your study by selecting which data streams to collect, defining EMA and survey questions, and inviting participants to engage in your study.
EARS collects data through mobile sensing, using the sensors in the participant’s smartphone, including:
The EARS Research Dashboard allows study administrators to monitor data uploads and data quality. The web-accessible dashboard simplifies and streamlines remote participant monitoring across your research team.
The data scientists at EARS provide customized research services for the extraction and delivery of data configured by your research group, with expert support to process data into insight.
Ksana Health is vigilant about privacy and data security. Our secure cloud-based data upload and storage system ensures that participant data is secure, private, and is never shared with anyone else without permission.
EARS study data is provided in study-specific AWS S3 data packets. Our data is built on technology that utilizes a secure infrastructure, allowing us to encrypt data and manage the retention of data. Data in the systems we use is automatically encrypted at the physical layer before it leaves secured facilities. The data infrastructure receives third-party validation for thousands of global compliance requirements and supports security standards and compliance certifications including PCI-DSS, HIPAA/HITECH, FedRAMP, GDPR, FIPS 140-2, and NIST 800-171, helping us satisfy compliance requirements for virtually every regulatory agency around the globe.
For more detailed information about Privacy, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
We’d love to show you the new features of EARS 2.0 and give you a preview of the system and how it works. Contact us to set up a time to see the EARS 2.0 system in action.
